The host was incredibly kind and we had a mind-blowing corner room with a jaw-dropping view of the fireworks at night. It was super convenient to drive to the island of Oleron and the parking place right in front of the hotel was a plus. We had an amazing surprise with the local Sardine festival happening next to the hotel. The personal attention and interaction with both the staff and locals created a truly unique experience. The location was extremely interesting, especially for oyster lovers, with beautiful beaches and historic towns nearby. The hotel and restaurant had a charming and authentic vibe, with a warm welcome and high-quality food. It was a refreshing change from the usual corporate hotel chains. The staff was very friendly, and while our room was basic, the breathtaking view made up for it. The restaurant offered great seafood options at sensible prices. it was a fantastic value and we can't wait to stay again.
